quick powerbook question?

im selling my powermacg4 to get me a ncie powerbook. was wondering if i could use my powerbook and connect it to a desktop monitor and use that as my screen instead of the powerbook screen. does the powerbook have the plug for that or do i need to buy soemthing extra. if not i mite as well sell my desktop monitor as well. thanks

the Powerbook comes with an adapter for connecting a CRT monitor. If you want to connect a Flat panel then you need an ADC to DVI adaptert. You can get them from Apple. By the way you can Dual monitors from the new Powerbooks. It's awesome.

all the new pbooks allow for lid closed operation as well, even the little 12 inch

And they all have video cards with DVI.

You only need the DVI to ADC adapter if you run an Apple flat screen. Otherwise it's just DVI to DVI.. or DVI to VGA (simple adapter cable)
