I need to make a table or grid in Quark, any tools within the program to accomplish this?

ahahHAHAHAHA
you are entering a world of pain.
strictly tabs, lines and boxes.

I figured, but I never got down to the nitty gritty with it, so I thought there was a chance of it. One level of undo is the best.

...is this thread a joke or what!?

uh, the line tool?

there is a very good method that I know: working with excel 98 on a macintosh system 8 or higher and with quark 4. But doesnt work to my knowledge with higher versions of excel, and I have no idea if it works on windows.
And then with quark5 I heard that it can handle tables.

I don't see what's so hard about:
Item -> Table -> Insert Row, Column, etc.
???

am I missing something?
or are you?
- grafiske0
It's me. Sorry Dad.

Dad! Someone deleted Table out of my item menu!! Get him Pa!
- Gorbie0

Not a joke, I really wanted to know. Can I borrow 900 some odd dollars to update Quark Dad?
I have never done a drug in my life. Besides heroine.
- grafiske0
Just kidding. I have never done ANYTHING. I am straight edge.*
*I do not ridicule or beat people up for doing drugs. I just never do them myself.

Look you fucking dickhead...
you never once specified which version of Quark you were using.
I opened Quark up, started a new document, clicked a few things and gave you an answer.
I took 10 minutes out of my day to help you, and I get a dickhead response. Nice fucking attitude.
- grafiske0
Slow down. I appreciate the time you took to respond to me. I was not aiming to offend anyone, I am not sure what part you are offended by, but I can assure you that you have misinterpreted it.

easy, boys

... If somebody hadnt specified exactly what version of Quark they were using, I'ld automatically assume they were on 4.x. Simply because so far I havent been at any legimate businesses that have found the possibility of updating to 5.0 worthwhile. The only people w/ 5.0 I´ve met got their software from Kazaa or Hotline or whatever.
As for 6.0 ... well ... we ordered 30 licenses 6 weeks ago, and are still waiting - would have been a lot easier getting a cracked copy
