I have OS9. My apple dvd player is very buggy especially after I put a new DVD-RW/CD-RW drive in it. The main thing is its always been easy to lock up and now if I leave it on pause or stop for a while it will lock and and the disk wont eject.
Is the DVD player for OSX any better and less buggy?

i use VLC, and it works fine! DVD player works stable

ive never had any probs with my dvd player / osx on my laptop

osx isn't a prob - dvd plays fine - u pause it, put the mac to sleep, i even ran out of power and had to recharge the labtop and when i plugge it in the dvd continued from where it left off!
hope u can fix your player...:)
