if one was to buy a new mac, then the new OS came out a month later, would you get a free upgrade?
i only ask as i need to upgrade but don't want to fork out feckload when panther arrives

happened to me and they gave me the upgrade 'free', actually cost me £14.00 postage.

guess it depends how close you are to the release date, whatever that will be.
