Yes it's possible, but be warned that the image quality goes down drastically when you use an adapter. People say it's horrible.

there are cheaper LCDs on the market that are the same size & quality. Look at the IBM or Samsungs. Check out www.newegg.com for great online prices from a reputable company.
The main thing about LCDs is you should use a video card with a DVI out. Looks like ass otherwise.

if you are going with an apple display....a g5 must go with it. you can't mix and match.....

Apple LCD is digital through out, so unless the PC pumps out digital signals, then there will aleways be artifacts through adaptors... if you have to, then don't complain when XP freaks out every 5 min as it can't handle multi-tasking and display for s**t

sweetasbro,
what are you talking about. XP has nothing to do with this. I just hate Apple people always making "smart" comments. And XP works like a charm.

Get the Sony 23" LCD. It's newer and better than the Apple, for about the same price. That's Computer Arts opinion, not mine, I've yet to see one.

apple studio display. you buying it for the style or you think it will improve the visual quality? It wont improve the visual quality, the mac does that alone not the screen.

a screen is a screen, a mac is a mac, a PC will work with mac and macs will work with pcs. computers have come so far now that theyre almost the same. mac has their idealist "im big and have money and im graphical" mindset and microsoft has their" illl buy you" mindset. the displays are no different than the ones you buy from a store, the apple displays are just pretty plastic and clear. they work the same on either machine, as both pcs and macs can run an ATI 9800 pro 256. that has a DVI-out and will work and display the same on either OS. a pc can do anything a mac can do, just faster.
