Line screen is an accient way of determinig res for screen printing for newsprint. Like dots per inch. Like the old schoolers that still use that term instead of pixels per inch.

The only reason why I'm askin is cause I got this small dim image that needs to be streched to 10.5 inch an Im just wondering if I can save some res by using a lower dpi then 300.

yeah, you can generally get away with 220-250. test em out on an ink jet for visual quality.

on a side note:
i hate quark.1. it doesnt follow any of the standard graphic defaults for hotkeys.
2. it smells bad.
3. reread #1
4. it is overpriced.
and again
5. reread #1i mean cmon for fucksake at least give me the spacebar as the hand tool and the spacebar+cmd to zoom in. FUCK YOU BITCHES! i will now pirate 100 copies of your program and then burn them in a garbage can outside my apartment. fuckers.

A good formula for printing is 2 times the linescreen. So if you need 133 lpi then 266 should be acceptable.

Thanks for the rule I just printed out a proof it looks alright. Man interpolation has come a long way.

depending on the image, as low as 200 mighrt be ok
