Any ideas for a solution?

Try taking the space out after your
eg.
change: ' '
to:
get rid of all those space, then give it a try
- SF0
ok, didnt realise NT won't display source code.
just look at your html and you'll see the spaces you have after all your table cell open tags. you shouldnt have any spaces between the 'open' and 'close' tags for anything

safari rocks!

try using css and xhtml for layout instead of tables.
check http://glish.com/css/ for help if you don't know about it yet.
- SF0
good point xrusos, but a combination of CSS & tables would probably be most appropriate.
- xrusos0
you're right, if he just eliminated the space between end td and tr tags and the next beginning tags it should fix the gaps. [tr][td][/td][td][/td][/tr][tr...
no line breaks between tags
- xrusos0
and SF, did you look at his code? it's crazy complex tables.
- SF0
exactly.

I like to use the homesite software which came bundled with Dreamweaver before it became incorporated into MX. It allows you to view invisible stuff like spaces and tabs. (i'm sure its not the only coding software that does this)
It's helpful for finding spaces that could cause things to not display properly

i used to have problems with return characters after resaving files on different platforms, that was a pain the ass.

Thanks dudes. I'll give it shot. Sounds logical. The table may maybe a little too complex. MSE doesn't have problems reading the code it seems to fill in the blanks, where as safari, I guess the code needs to be perfect. I found the same same problem with netscape. I'm not doubting Safari it seems to be faster for the mac user. I just wish they would release it for PC so I can beta check my shit. But that's problably never gona happen. I'll email you guys the link when it goes live. Probably in a few days. Which version of DW where you talking about I'm using DW3, i guess that kinda old school now, but I havn't had the time to learn MX. Any big diffrence?

How about now?

dude, for kicks, please just try eliminating the line breaks between td tags!
[td]stuff[/td][td]more stuff[/td]
NOT:
[td]stuff[/td]
[td]more stuff[/td]
- SF0
Yeah, xrusos is correct. even the breaks and spaces between [tr][td].
Allaire homesite probably is on the DW3 cd, take a look, i'm certain its on the DW4 disc.
There might be a free download somewhere too, i've never checked.
Good luck

So what I just have one straight line of code. That's an editing nightmere. Look at the code of this page it's the same breaks between the [tr]&[td]. K I'll try one more time. *sigh*
- bhawk0
ok I didn't elimate the breaks between the [tr] & [td]. I mean has far as my understanding.
[tr]
[td]Isn't a break it's good formating.
Anyway, I've uploaded two versions.1-That's not nested in a table to center it to the page. To make sure it's not a nesting prob.

2- That is nested but with all the spaces between the [td]&[img] tags. I missed a a couple.

you need "number" around your image sizes
I think
- bhawk0
"number"?
