Photoshop.dreamweaver effect ?

does anyone know how to do this effect ? i was playing around looking at the code. but can't seem to come close.

F1 in photoshop. look up gradient. bam!

make a 1px wide by 2000px high psd...fill it with a gradient, top to bottom...save as a jpg, and then set that as your bg in page properties of dreamweaver...it tiles automatically....
