re-invigorate is going to be skewed to higher res as mostly designers use it. its not an accurate depiction of average internet users.

wow. 2% of users are on macs (according to w3schools.com) i would think there were more mac users.

For example, our online design magazine has 10% Mac users, and most users have larger than 800x600 screen res...

you should probably check a variety of site counters and average those numbers out.
but 800x600 is probably your safest bet.

The two places I use for stats are www.echoecho.com (bottom right corner) and www.thecounter.com (click global statistics in the middle of the page).
