the Mexicans are actually quite acrobatic and fun to watch as well, the kill each other in their league. I catch some of it, but not all the games are shown. :( I get Premier League games via Cable in the high channels. :)

smoke is right the english league is not the b est in the world but it is not the worse either.
The spanish league is the best in the world IMO.
Anyways, the game, like so many times the big clashes btw the best teams don't deliver much. There wasn't much beautiful football and that penalty. There was too much tension that the forgot to play.And about the portugue's ronaldo. He has skills but yeah it seems like he wants to do to much. Like everytime he touches the ball he wants to do something special. That's not the way to do it

Even though I really, really like the Premier League, IMO I think the Italians or the Spaniards have it. More of the Latino type places head there, as it mimmicks their own country in terms of culture. At least this is my theory. But you have excellent Dutch and English players and even some Yanks in the Premier League.
