I'm just wondering about some good schools in canada that have degree programs.

sheridan college is good i hear.

BC - Emily Carr ... art school, good design i THINK, dunno tho, look it up
AB - Alberta School of Art and Design
ONT - Ryerson University (New Media); York University; Sheridan University; Seneca College; Ontario College of Art and Design
QC - Concordia University (represent!); i think UQAM (french speaking) has one; maybe more?
NS - Nova Scotia College of Art and DesignI'm sure there are more, but these are the ones i know off the top of my head. If you wanna know about Montreal and Concordia, gimmie a shout..... Ryerson and York, too (I also applied there). Good luck

Can a foreigner apply to the school?
-Yes you can but Hyper Island is currently not open to students that can't speak Swedish.from the faq

Hm, that's not true, a friend of mine graduated a couple of months ago, where serveral of his classmates couldn't even order a beer in swedish.
It all comes down to your skills. Language comes second handedly...

As I have gathered, the York/Sheridan programme is the only programme in Canada where you can receive an actual Bachelor of Design.
This is the third time this month I've plugged this school.

The Bachelor of Design (BDes) degree is offered in the Visual Communications Design Major. The BDes may be awarded upon successful completion of 123 credits including a minimum of 30 credits in liberal studies courses.

I'm applying to Ryerson and I'm pretty sure it's good for some design stuff. The other members have some pretty good ideas of schools actually.

I'd love to study in Canada, just to get out of USA for a while, especially in TO and Montreal.
