Guys, anyone run into this problem with photoshop? I try to start it. It loads everything. and then...poof disappears. i don't get it...just started happening? sound familiar?

i have the same problem with my windows xp ps just closing out...
haven't found a fix yet, but i've found if i drag files from ie to ps its more likely to happen...might be a problem with your temp folder being too large...

slaz what would be the problem with fonts? i have adobe font folio running for some of my fonts.
What the hell?!?! i hate adobe.

i am mac OSX also... sorry man
font probelsm I have had were the system font conflicting with my suitcase fonts or other installed fonts...what worked for me was taking all of the fonts out of teh folder and reinstalling them in groups to see where my font issues were.
you might just have to do a reinstall ontop of it...might do the job.

Have you tried re-installing? Had that problem on xp a few months ago but it disappeared as I reinstalled it.
Might be a registry bug.
