I'm in raleigh nc. lost power a couple of times. there's a lot of green leaves and small branchs down all over my yard. not to bad really. :)

I am sure it was bad, that's the price of living along a flood plain or a costal area I guess. You just never know. 99% of the time great, but there is always that 1% of buying it or having your house picked up form the ground and thrown.

not too shabby here, (richmond, VA) although nothing's open do to lack of water, go figure. pumps are out due to electricity.
the south side of the city was hit pretty bad, 3 ppl died. sucks.

I live in SC, I could see the outer cloud bands on the horizon yesterday.
The highest sustained winds on land that I heard reported was 95mph, which would be considerably less punch than they thought this storm was going to have.

the wind collapsed a 4 story building that was under construction out here in W'burg, Brooklyn.
It was freaky. I got out of the subway, turned the corner onto Bedford Ave and then I heard the hollow 4 story building collapse floor by floor.
I turned around and saw a dust cloud blow out from N. 7th St onto Bedford.
-can't find any news story on it, so I assume nobody got hurt.
