Dead Pixel

I have a digital cam corder that all of a suddent won't display a pixel. When I playback the footage there's this one spot that's just white.
Think it's my lens or something inside?

Is the pixel missing when the video is played somewhere else or just on the camera's lcd?
If it shows up elsewhere, it could be the ccd(?) hell I dunno...

its missing on the LCD screen which is on the camera and when i play back to TV

shit, that might take professional maintenance :(

the pixel is dead. this happens to all lcd screens eventully. when you buy an lcd screen there is usually a waranty assoc with the number of dead pixels. for example, viewsonic will repair your screen if 8 die. it sucks, i know.
