Special rates for web designers.Anyone want to pre-book for 2031? It will be a spectacular scene to watch.

Mir won't be in orbit in 2031.

Read carefully. It's a spaceship called Mir.

gonna grab my surfboard and go down with the ship.
- Mimio0
Right, my mistake.

better seats down here.
i think i'll video tabe the whole thing and inexplicably start dancing and acting like nothing is happening in front of the camera while armegedon takes place behind me... thousands of years later when new civilizations find my tape, they'll be baffled at the surreal footage found and will not for the life of them be able to figure out what kind of human would dance and laugh at their own demise...

the Mir spacestation was ditched from orbit in 2001.

if it does wipe us out, it's for good reason. Sometimes 'death and destruction' can be a healthy thing. Think about controlling some animal populations. Especially if you're choking a planet like we are. It's happened throughout Geologic Time to many species, completely wiping them out and will no doubt happen again. Whether we are here are not. ;)

Choose life, get your ass to Mars.

good reason or not.. I dont like it.

OK. Forget about the name Mir. It's a spaceship all right, not a station.
Ready to trade ONE ticket for design/development of a fully fletched non-flash e-commerce website selling those tickets. Anyone?
mitsu, how will your videotape survive the total wash out?

i supose i could concoct some sort of blackbox for the camera itself... or just attach it to a rocket and shoot it out into orbit...
