flash annoying

  when I want to pull frames out along the time line i hold alt on the mac: but when ever I do it creates a blank frame on the end which really confuses me, can I drag frames out along the timeline without making the blank frame on the end, or how do I get rid of it

  are u with flash 5, right? i think you want to work with flash 4 kindda work frame style. go to preferences somewhere in the menu and turn the box "flash 4...", blabla.... (you know what i mean)
