So the ActiveX Controlller is patent infringement? I guess I don't understand what technology in particular gave Microsoft the advantage or Netscape.

simply put, flash would no longer work seamlessly in browsers. you would have to click a button or some other type of work around to get flash to play.
as much as this sucks, the usability and web purist inside of me let out a small cheer at the prospect of the jump in webstandards this could cause.
since it doesn't effect xhtml, css, php, etc...

but, even i know it is a bad thing to disable seamless plugin architecture.
