My buddy bought one a while ago and has put down his sk8board to study the manuals. Good lad...
Can anyone recommend any resources online that may help him hone his skilss? Or even better, know of anywhere like NT that he can ask questions?
Muchly appreciated with all the friday felling I have left...

never ever ever ever put down your skateboard... is he getting into skateboard filming or just filming in general? Just asking cause the XL1 is a little bulky for skate filming. I use a vx2 myself.

He doesn't want to put down his board, but all his sk8 buddies (myself included) spend our lives behind monitors now.
Yeah, a little sk8 filming, but he's been offered some work on a short film, here in London (I'm editing in FC4). Just wanna help him out coz it's a tight industry...

yeah the resources are called Dv tapes... and lots of them.. and then filming anything and everything in good and bad lighting conditions and looking at the footage and trying to figure out whether anything could b done to improve. I hav about 15 test tapes that gave me more schooling than any "resources website".
