does anyone who lacks a record player buy records anyway just for the sleeve art? maybe i should dust off the old belt drive. anyway im contemplating getting some records off ebay but i don't know if it will be weird or something.

Not wierd if you have the money and are really interested in some good sleeve art. I often look at a record first becasue of sleeve art but I never consiously let it pursuade me into buying music. Especially in the type of music I buy. Sometimes the good stuff doesn't come with cover art.
