Indesign paste text?

  Does anyone know if you can paste text into indesign so it doesn't keep the font attributes from the copied text?

  ie. I'm pasting text from word and I want it to paste as text so it keeps the font attributes I had set in inDesign.

  Use character styles... then just override whatever it pastes in with one click.

  You have to paste it in TextEdit and then copy and paste it in InDesign..then it should retain the formatting you set in ID....

  I'm prettty sure this works.
