I trust the NT community to give me their honest opinions on my new website. I put it together real fast so employers could look at it. Could you tell me what I need to change to gear it towards an employment tool? Much appreciation in advance. One.

blue lines! (around the enter image)
I think they were forbidden in '96.
Otherwise it looks neat. Still looking...

i think you should preload the rollover image on the index page...i would also like some information about each project in the work section....
good pieces though...!

Yes get rid of the lines on the enter page, I believe it's just because your did not spcify border = 0 on your image.
On the inspiration page, don't people usually link to the sites?
Im not real big on inspiration pages anyways. We have all been to most of them. But it lets us know your cool. I guess.
It's not a bad site overall and It showcases your work which is not bad, design wise. Simple site, but the work it showcases is worthy.

I don't like the first page. Lighten up a bit.
The rest is cool!! I like that rock illustration.

Yeah, good work but I would also lika some text to go with the pics. And I think you should put leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" in the body tag of the popup image pages.

your inspiration section would be useful to others if it included links to their sites

Want some more? I don't think the splash page have the same style as the site itself. And by that I mean I'm not too crazy about it.

Am I the only person that noticed that the page is one big image? The entire page reloads for each mouse over instead of just the navigation area itself reloading.
Sloppy, sloppy... and BIG.

Also, just notcied that the portfolio items come up in windows that are slightly too small. Either take out the pagemargins or add some height and width to the windows.
Your design looks really good, by the way.

thanks again, all. i love blunt commentary. someone should write "stick to anything but web design."

You ned to go here:
You would be surprised what you can do after just reading for about an hour. Learn HTML, CSS & Javascript.
You cannot use big ass images like that. that is cheating.

yo 187, thanks for that link. sorry for "cheating." i won't do it again, i promise.

hi phist,
i think your site is great. esp. since it's a first attempt. it would be nice for your inspiration to be links, and also, brief descriptions to accompany your work may be a nice addition. great stuff..
i'd also like to add that it's really lame for people to give you unnnecessarily rude feedback when you're opening yourself up for criticism on this site. some people just LOVE to be abnoxious behind the safety of their computers. what's that about? can we say CONSTRUCTIVE criticism? not that i don't think you can handle it.. i think people just need to lighten up a bit.
good luck.

tourist, crapmeister, others...
thanks for great advice. tourist, i don't understand all the hate, but whatever, man. i'm gonna fix some shit up so no one will complain. how's that?
