I need advice, or links on what colours are good to use for the colour blind. Ideally a palette of some sort would be great....
hope this makes sense
cheers

i don't think it's as easy as that...
colour blindness takes different form in different people...
personally i have a little trouble with certain shades of brown/green/purple...
it can be difficult to identify certain shades of those colours...
i always have to ask the wife when recycling bottles if they're brown or green...
it's not that i see one colour and think it's another... just a little confusion as to what certain colours are...
but that's probably no help whatsoever is it..?
um...

greens and blue are out.
reds and browns are questionable.
black and white is fine.

I would incorporate sounds into it, that's the greatest thing about using sound in design, using it in Flash for the blind and what not, sweet! I think you would want to use things that are constrasting bigtime though.

The RNIB reckon that the contrast between your text and the background is more important than the actual colours.
