Inside the package, Waldo was so transfixed with excitement that he could barely breathe. His skin felt prickly from the heat and he could feel his heart beating in his throat. It would be soon. Sheila stood quite upright and walked around to the other
side of the package. Then she sank down to her knees,
grasped the cutter by both handles, took a deep breath
and plunged the long blade through the middle of the package, through the middle of the masking tape, through the cardboard, through the cushioning and (thud) right through the center of Waldo Jeffers head, which split slightly and caused little rhythmic arcs
of red to pulsate gently in the morning sun.

Cheap way to go to jail as well.
I think that story might be bullshit. I live in Dallas and watch the news 2 times a day and haven't heard anything about this.

just bring some of those freezer-pack blue cartridge things for coolers and a reading light and some books. you could probably set a crate up pretty nicely inside if you had time to plan it.

it IS bullshit, because the cargo area of a plane is too cold to survive if you're at flightlevel 350.

well if its on the news it has to be real. :)

why wouldn't they climatize the luggage section?
loads of stuff could be destroyed in freezing conditions.

Good thing for increased airport security

yea, in hindsight you might say this could be a terror assault if it appears to be this easy.
get to work FBI! .... and the CIA shouldn't sleep in these cases either.

OMG when I saw this on the news last night and heard the reporter say, "...noticed a pair of eyes between the slats of the crate," I about lost it.
Made me think of Gollum for some reason, but I could not stop laughing. :D

he should be rewarded.
he showed a major gap in airline security to the world, now they better do something about it.
