dunno if youve done this already, but search for laptop bags here, in the PV-AN, there are quite a few links if you do.

If you want something on the same lines as the timbuk2 bag, go with RELoad. They are pricier, but you can fully customize the bag with a design on the front and whatnot. Dimensions, colors, etc are all of your liking.
They are located in Philly and unless things have changed, its two bike messengers who design and produce every bag themselves. It also seems like I have stock in them. haha.

I've got one of these - pretty cool and functional:

Highly recommend it!

Get you a ruck sack. If cost is a concern - a good 30 gallon heavty bag is pretty dope. Cram all the cables and a mouse in there with room to spare.

Geezer,
Buy a protective case and carry on using your shitty bag - thus the naughty criminals will presume that your shit bag only contains shit!!
It aint rocket science!!
Mind you, if it was a bag with a space shuttle on it - it could well be!!

Burton makes an awesome bag for laptops, they call it the DJ bag, but it's meant to hold a 15" laptop.

I have one, and it's mighty fine. It was last seasons model, but I bet you can round one up for cheap, I paid $40.

incase bag.. all the way. i have a15 ti book and it's the slickest and is pretty tough... you may also want to look into something to protect the screen from any dirt of oils from your fingertips that transfer to the keyboard... ---- totally worth it..
