yeah! I was in the "south florida" group.
Flash has me really excited, especially the pro version.
I was a little dissapointed with the overall presentation though. It seemed like most of the information we saw could be found on the site already, but it was still fun to see it in action, and check out Breeze in practice.
btw they launched http://www.macromedia.com/into/

Good info. I was taking the questions for Orlando. We had a 5 second lag for most of the preso.
What the heck was up with the new flash timeline thing? And didya see all those components?
The CSS was indeed interesting, but I wanted to know more about Breeze.

I think the new timeline is just for the pro version, and it can be turned off?
Orlando eh? I'm right below you in Ft. Lauderdale.

We gave away a copy of MX2004 to one of our attendees. I should have rigged the drawing. :)
I dont use Fireworks, but having it natively embedded in Flash and Dreamweaver is a great idea. Looking forward to the new versions.

I usually go to the SF group, but stayed home tonight... trying to make some money, maybe I'll be able to buy some of that software some day. Beau Amber leads the group and has the 1st clip on the INTO thing - cool beans!

Gave away 2 MX2004 boxes at the Harrisburg, Pa. group. New Flash menu looks like a different approach to scenes. Cool presentation overall, but seemed like they only answered "positive" questions...guess Flash still can't be indexed by search engines, though CSS support and native database connection look awesome.

A few cities asked about changing a single CSS sheet to change both swf and html files, but it went unanswered. Guess we will know soon enough.

I was with the Orlando group, everything was fine with Breeze live, very cool indeed. Seems like they're trying to automate a lot of things now, loved the broader CSS support and the tight integration between components, like actually editing graphics from within DW.
The timeline effects to me are like chessy third party plug ins, nothing against them, but seems like $899 can make you a designer, literally, "look ma, I made this plane move and link it to its content...sweet grandpa!"
Yes Nirvous, you should've rigged the raffle.
