how do i transfer mail settings (accounts) from an old to a new installation of mozilla mail / thunderbird..? winXP
i have the profiles folder.

just copy your inbox/drafts/sent/trash etc. (there aren't any extensions, i don't think) and overwrite the new ones.

Or, in the mail window, go to Tools ยป Import.

yeah it's nice to have an import function, but you can't export your mail...go figure... ;)
