I love how the sliding of the box and the text separates from eachother!

allow myself to introduce myself? :)
Jev, tight! I think I saw the second link, you showed it to me while back. I love the first one! clean and slick, the way it should be baby :)
MAYO WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO PHOENIX!

like like. The (logo) font is a little pedestrian in the first, a little weak. but that's really being picky. bold? or Gothic? Don't listen.
I like the menu but, once again a v. small thing here. Who What Why - the y dipping below the baseline throws it off. Uppercase all maybe?
still, really good both.

i'll like the flash banner.. and the layout is clean
maybe uise a darker grey for the menus with the pixel font cause it's very light,..

Supacool! Looking good without using a single 45 degree arrow, how did you manage that? ;)
Just a couple of things - in the 'who' dropdown, text line 3 is all crunched up and the font is generally a bit hard to read across all of them. In the 'why' box the last word sits by itself, I'd shift it up to the line above if you can fit it in, just being picky though.
Maybe you could add a back button to the photo strip?
The top bar is a bit plain, how about doing something more with the logo or adding some faint illustration up there?
Not particulary keen on the main body copy font, the way that some of the letters touch each other is a bit dodgy. Is that bit going to be in Flash or HTML?
The overall look is great though, very different style from most of the portfolio sites you see. Nice one Jevad.

Really nice jevad!
Maybe the logo typeface a little bit stronger...
But I think is super!
- jevad0
thanks zaven - a few people have picked up on the logo now...have to look into that...
- zaven0
you welcome,
when are you thinking to put it online?
- jevad0
ugh - been putting it off for 3 weeks now - hopefully by the weekend - I need it up by the latest end of next week cos thats when I'm sending my cv out!

Hi Jevad
Like the layout, nice and clean. Love the photo animation in the interactive version.
Type: not sure about the logo and header fonts combination with the dropdown font - one is classic, one is playful. Love the vespertinish playful font but you need to decide on caps or not - personally I prefer not.
Photographic style: the animated photo seems to work way better than the trees - is much more graphic. The trees didn't make me think of a graphic designer - I thought it was a link for a client at first.
Colour palette: you have the muted blues and greys which work together, then you have the greens that work with the greys. But I don't think the blue and the saturated green are too hot together. Personally I would either make that main blue banner saturated blue or mute the dark green.
hope this is constructive - feel free to ignore!

I agree with the other comments regarding the body font. It's a bit messy.
I'd be inclined to line your picture viewer thing up with the top of the copy regarding the project. By having one higher than the other they don't seem connected.
Does that make sense?I'm not to keen on the background pattern on your drop downs.
Hooray for serifs, i've used them on my site too http://www.datajam.co.uk/portfol… (not finished)
