Depends on what you are looking for. I've seen some pretty sweet deals on leather jackets. I'd go to a store and try it on first.
I think I may start buying my Nike's online. They have the choices I want, and I usually search for 6 months before I find anything good. But I've worn the same size for the last 10 years, so I don't really need to try them on.

from a expert online and off line shopper..
i bought alot of stuff from on line stores.
advice.
-unless you know that fits you, dont buy it.
-some cloths also has different color that the pic.
-you have to feel the material, alot of nice lookinf stuff are made with cheap stuff.
-its a bitch to return stuff and you gotta pay for shipping. unless you can return it to the physical store like GAP or AF
-customer service? no thx. most of the online or phone service are crap. they have no idea what they are talking about nor they care.
-find stuff that you cant find offline.
-before online shopping i used to mail / phone order stuff. same thing. Victoria's Secret ring a bell? its a gamble. should i or should i not.wow.. i should get out more often..
