I'm a drummer (but you've already got one of those I hear) but i've been playing Congas and other percussion for about 10 years on and off as well. I would like to blow the dust off them if you're intersted. Where & when do you play?

My flat mate plays bass, but he's really into the Clash etc. I don't know what his funk sensibilities are like. I know plenty in Bristol, that's not much help is it. Let me have a think.

Trying to find a good available bass player is like trying to find a free cab on a saturday night during a train strike.
Finding a good available bass player who can also communicate with the rest of the band is like finding said cab with a driver who actually knows how to get to where you want to go.
