damn bio - where you been?! hows the new job?
- Bio0
ar! nic!
i just havent had time to hang around as much. i have mostly only been a lurker for the past couple of weeks chiming in when i get some spare time, but i have just been incredibly busy.the new job is rocking hardcore! i love the projects and the people. the atmosphere is incredible. adjustable track lighting, top of the line equipment/computers, no expense spared. these guys arent afraid to spend money to have shit done right and that is so refreshing. people here bitch about stuff, but all in all, i think they just dont know how bad things are elsewhere. i am incredibly happy!
how're you and the missus? sunburn all healed from the honeymoon? =)
- jevad0
ha ha ha - yeah all healed! life is good here too - just getting on with it really - glad to hear how awesome it is there - it makes all the difference huh!

I did it after 6 years of smoking and what I did was give up drinking for a month at the same time.
personally I spent the whole month craving for beer more, so I never noticed the cravings of nicotine.
Be warned its not easy, for the 1st week, you halucinate, after that it gets ok...
but trust me it works

oi! you have a new job Bio? Why didn't you tell me! You swore till death do us part but you're all quiet when you're switching jobs?
- zaven0
Bio, where are you working now??
- jg_20
argg.... my sad morning mood is turning into a killing machine! after eating i suffered a big crisis, that means: coffee but not smoking! and the whole people around me with their coffee and their cigarettes....
agg... and now my sense of humor developed to an high level sarcasm... mmhhh...
true kingkezza! i heard the same about the first awful week. hope to have enough patience, with the people around me and myself. i was smoking for 7 years aprox, from 1-2 boxes. fucked up tradition.... but yours was a big adventure mate! smoking + drinking!!! :)
and congratulations to Bio! happy to hear you are so ok at your new office! thats luck, man! did they give you freedom to develop your stuff?
sounds like a dream job to me!
and news: i am not fired! now i have the chance to change my job, but in a relaxed mood ya know. no child no firing time... glups!

yerg. yea man, the first week is hellish, but doable. i swear that you will feel so much better after 2 or three weeks. i mean you'll still crave the fuckers, but you'll have tons more energy.
as for the job, i now work for a resort/casinos. so i get to do all the graphics for 2 casinos, a water parl, the resort, and the golf course (the latter is rather oring though). there are still deadlines n all, but they allow a lot more time to go into designs so that it all looks great. the area is on the choctaw reservation in philadelphia, mississippi. quite nice. i did a lot of work for these guys with the company i used to work for, so i was a shoe-in for the job. used to work with one of the guys here back in college.
so i am a single guy, working at a resort, looking for a house to rent. i never thought i would see this day. no woman to tie my ass down and nag me to death to buy her stuff. i get my first check today, and i plan to go out and buy myself a new pair of silver hoop earrings and a silver stud for the upper hole. and i got a big smile on my face. =D

not only the first week.. i have stopped for one and a half year and i still want to smoke..
and it's still a pain not to light a cig with a glass or after a good meal, or ater sex or when u get on your nerves..
u'll smoke again... no doubt about that..i've managed not to smoke cigies anymore but i'm wasting 300 € a month on good aschich now
useless ..
- jg_20
cool bomy_dick! i am happier right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
shit, boy. light a cigar, then!
i will try it anyway
- Bio0
yea. it took me about 2 years to not crave them any more, but every once in a while i will have to light up a newport after a really good meal and and some wine/beer. i usually hack and cough til i put it out half way thru though.
time and crutches. that's all it takes.
- bomy_dick0
i use my girlfriend .. she is a good non smoke but shag method
- jox0
rumor has it that if you haven't smoked for a few months and then have one it tastes like shit. That'd scare you off, don't'cha think?
- unknown0
with me, I smoke every now and again... I can smoke ciggies anymore at all I cant stand the taste... but I still like the taste of a rolly every now and again
- bomy_dick0
oh no .. unfortunately
after a few month the first cig is heaven..
like freedom, it makes you feel all stoned... all relaxed.. iot's like you are alive.. for good. it's like u never stopped.
this must be the best cig in your life
- jg_20
i tried already one time, and then i have it once again, and it already tasted like shit...... but is more a kindda custom than enjoying the taste.
my girlfriend hates smoking. really. actually shes the one behind that. shes the motivation. to be nonsmoker and beeing in a couple with a smoker is revolting.
but it taked me 1,5 year to make the decision!
- zaven0
my girlfriend is the cause...
I quit smoking for 1 month.. with pain, almost impossible to watch the champions league football final without light a cigarette... milan was playing shit... but I resist...
then i went back italy to visit her (I'm living in spain now)... out of the airport she was smoking a cigarette... she kiss me... after 2 minutes I found myself with a cigarette in my hand!
good you have a good girlfriend!
