Partition magic. Can't go wrong.

start -> all programs -> administrative tools -> computer management
in the tree menu, near the bottom there is a "disk management" tool.
but, you really can't just delete the partition and its contents without effecting the system as a whole. first off, the mbr will be screwed up more than likely...it could cause boot problems. second, all you can do is re-format that patition...if you try to merge it into the existing xp partition then problems will occur with xp.
partition magic can make things easier if you use it, but it still doesn't ensure data integrity when attempting something like this.
i have a question, why dual boot 2k and xp? they are the same os as far as the systems go...the only difference is the desktop environment.
