How can i make one of these in illustrator (10)? in photoshop there are 5 options for gradients (one being "angle"), and illustrator there are only two. linear and radial.
help!?

then use blends.

use the gradient tool to alter the gradient. make a shape, apply a radial or linear gradient then select the gradient tool from the palette. with the gradient shape selected, click and drag the gradient tool to determine angle of gradient. your start point of the drag will be one end of the gradient ramp (i.e., black) and the end point is the other (i.e., white). play with and you'll get the hang of it.

I don't think you understand what im asking testpilot. go to photoshop and select the "angle" instead of radial or linear. you'll see.
I think blending might be more what im looking for. unfortunately, I don't have much experience with blending. as good a time to learn as any I suppose. thanks guys.

sorry about the confusion. typing and reading about apps is a lot different than using them!
