popup blocking then n' now

  When i first installed the google popup blocker my numbers went skyrocketing.. i was blocking tons a day... but now i notice that sites dont have as many popup ads..... me simple theory is everybody installed the tool bar so its not worth it to do popups anymore...

  anybody else experience this?
