I'll be in D.C. this weekend but I can't imagine living there...is there any scene at all?

if you are talking about nightlife scene, here's the lowdown:
There are 3 main areas that people go to: Midtown, Georgetown, and Adam's Morgan.
I go mostly to Midtown or Adam's Morgan. The bars in Midtown are a little more spread out... whereas in Adam's Morgan they take up about 4 blocks. In AM, it's more fun, less uppity than the Georgetown crowd.
There are some cool bars in Georgetown, but it's mostly the people that you hang with that makes it fun. So if you only go with one or two people into a bar there, it'll be pretty boring. I usually don't like Georgetown because of the higher drink prices and meatheads.

I was raised in Dale City (DC) a suburb of metro Washington DC (DC). So i am a true DC guy! ;o)
I lived in Falls Church and i just bought a house here in Reston area.
I love the area. minus this freakin traffic.
I normally go to Adam's Morgan when i do get into the city. Been to almost all clubds/bars in the area there.. although i am not much of a drinker.
1st Ever DC-NT social?? hmmm
