Can anyone recommend a good CMS for a corporate company intranet.
Functionality required is for
uploading of word docs, powerpoint presentations, etc. by internal staff for other users to download via a live website.Also need a registration process for people to access this area of the site.
Just looking at off-the-shelf solutions to compare with the cost of developing from scratch.
Sick of going through google/hotscripts/etc :)

aspapp.com has a cool portal and company intranet that are free (or commercial with enhancements) why not modify those?
