i am stuck in a tough spot right now. I want to go back to school, but I have 2 pretty crappy options:
1) go to FIT and take credited classes at night, but becuase I live in NJ, pay a fortune, earn credits towards my bachelors, but take classes I probably wont use that much
2) take contuing education classes at either FIT or SVA, pay a little less for the exact classes I want, but no credits.
see, I already have my bachelors from another school and 6 years experience in the field already...does the degree matter anymore? Is it better to take classes I can benefit from now? thoughts?

why after 6 years experience in design would you want to go back to school?

i still wanna learn more stuff. Also, I have been shafted by some agencies because I don't have a bachelor's degree. I know it sounds bad, but some agencies won't even consider seeing you unless you do have one. I don't want it to be something I regret not having in the future.

i vote you get it but why FIT or SVA?

not all schools allow students to take credited classes towards their bachelors unless you are fulltime.
FIT just started a curriculum that you can go part time. SVA, does not. I havent found out for sure about Parson's yet and Pratt is too far for me to commute.
