sequence of pages navigation

    I have a sequence of ten pages and i want to have a forward and back button. i've put in buttons 1-9 and stop behaviours in the time line,aswellas goto and stop for buttons. however when i preview the scene it skips straight to the end of the sequence...am i doing something fundamentally wrong ? pls help this inexperienced user
