its either audion or itunes.
or go look on versiontracker for some others i guess.. there's a beta of winamp too i think.
i switched to audion and haven't been back, but there are a lot of things that annoy me about audion.

i am just looking for a additional player too itunes so i can have my music playing in the back ground will i listen to a book or comedy or something else....
maybe i will just use a dj software
like Traktor or something.

I love itunes and that is what i use on a daily basis...but i want to listen to two audio files at once and itunes cant do that...so i wanted another alternative player to do that....i aready have TrakorDJ so i may just use that...would like to not though

you could have quicktime play one and itunes the other.

or set up an empty flash page that loads a sound file ( the song that you want to hear most ).
Double click on the .swf, then iTunes - You're all set!
