A friend of mine asked to make a sleeve for their new cd. They wanted a design that fits with their upcoming website (i'm making it too). I used mostly photos I took myself.

That's beautiful work man - don't change a thing.

Yeah, looks great. Don't change a thing except the leading on the back of the sleeve (song titles). And, this is nitpicky but I'd fix the spacing on "Tell All Your Friends" on the front. It looks like Friends hangs out a little.
Good work!

and this is the website?!
- JazX0
looks pretty good to me, did you get SPIN's permission to use their name?
- TResudek0
I'm with everyone else. Tighten up the typography. Also, i wouldn't use Arial (it looks like arial on there, right?) for the typeface. That "R" is for shit. Try Helvetica or Coolvetica or Univers.
Just my two cents,
TR

and ehh...
what about the typography and the line-spacing between "THE GETAWAY" and "FEELING JOHNNY"?
[by the way: i do like the photoshopping.
and Spin is the leading music magazine in Belgium?
that's megalomania?]

Yes I noticed to line-spacing too, i'll fix it right away.
I didn't want to use belgium's leading music magazine.
- JazX0
you better get their permission, you cannot use a companies logo without it, just a head's up. ;)
- Stanton0
Jazx, I didn't think about that, mmm yeah maybe I'll have to change the name.

Just change the name to read "Spit" or something everyone will know it's a parody.
:P
- stewart0
what's that magazine?
- Bluejam0
I'd blank out/or rename the magazine the guy's holding on the front cover...it's (IMO) too dominant a name and makes the band name secondary. Otherwise if you wish to keep the magazine name in, 'personalize' the band name 'Froggy' to make it more individual from the other copy you have. At the moment it seems a little generic/stale.
- stewart0
rename the magazine:
"EAR"
- JazX0
yeah a 'spoof' on the name would be ok, or something like 'Rock Star' would be ok.
- joyride0
Change spin to speak or talk. Something that goes along with the title. ie. you would have to Speak or Talk to "Tell all your friends".
- Stanton0
i think i'll go with Speak/Talk or Ear hehehe...
Thanks for all the comments!

spun?
- Bluejam0
Call it 'Froggy' with the front page headline..."Tell all the people".
Drop the other copy from the front cover...
- JazX0
yeah SPUN I like that too, that's really good
