i saw this site before. has anyone seen one of the movies Koyaanisqatsi or Powaqqatsi?
enlighten me, as this seems very, very interesting.

I rented Kayaanisquasti or whatever it's called. I watched it sober. I had mixed feelings but over all I think it was worth the watch. The music gets a bit repetative, annoyingly so, but the imagery is very interesting. Now...if I were all stoned, then it may have been WAY better.

I especially like this shot .... A super long dolly in shot - the one on the Vegas Waitresses.
the slow creep towards these women, over what seems like a minute or so, is not to be missed ....

It'll make a great vj session in a club/bar with a good DJ who can drop some good beats and pieces over the visuals.
I bought parts one and two and watch 'em as a wind down after a night out...getting high helps the viewing pleasure.

we projected the jet plane crashing to earth ... that shot of the flaming debris falling for like, 10 minutes ... on a huge screen at a company christmas party. i think we had christmas music over it.
we were so drunk at that point.

"today on a him"... oops. meant to say on a whim. anyways, i didnt watch it stoned, but it kept me watching the tv like a fool for two hours, people kept on coming on and going wtf is this, i'm like sitting there mesmorised... seriously, if you haven't already, check it out.
