so... being an 'amateur' designer i need some help from you 'pros'...
I am doing an update to our uni magazine... its a monthly affair, with news, sport, articles, etc etc. currently times new roman is being used EVERYWHERE. looks like an essay done in word. so i was wondering what you guys suggest for a body font, headers for news, sport, whatever. all suggestions welcome font and design, faux pas' too... i just need help.

Dude - there are a million choices and you'll just get people spewing out font names here (just watch). I think you'd do better to hang out at myfonts.com and go to the local newstand and find out what grabs you and what is appropriate.
I have no clue what Uni is. It could look like Time or RayGun...
