Javascript Pop Up & Flash

I'm having an issue with java script and flash. I have a flash movie right below a navigation bar. The navigation bar has a javascript drop down menu. The problem is, when you mouse over the menus, flash is in effect on a higher layer, so you don't see the drop down menus. Is there any setting to make flash go to the backround or bring the javascript to the forground without using floating boxes?

you need to rework the layering obviously, there was a thread started about this long ago, Search for it.

Well I don't have any layers setup. I looked in golive and there is a background setting for the swf, I tried that an still no luck. I think that flash just takes precedence over all other objects. I'll see if there is a setting in the publish settings.

there may be some workarounds for this but your assumptions are correct, flash will always be on top.
