MrBixler,
Pay close attention to the new line of TVs Sony came up with. It's the rear-projection/LCD hybrid. I was just looking at it in electronics store. Amazing quality (no LCD/Plasma problems with faster motion) and it's much cheaper then Plasma's. You can get 60" WideScreen Sony for a couple of grand but it's worth the investment (it's HDTV as well).
Save money and buy this beauty. I was hasty and bought the new 36" Sony Wega and it's awesome, but this makes me sell my TV and buy the 60" one.

Thanks bB, good links.
I'm trying to decide between crt 32" (massive floorspace) or a plasma (massive cost)
What's your experience with projectors then?

I'm sorry I don't have a recommendation. I just wanna brag a bit.
My brother has an actual theater in his house with a projector that literally fills a huge 9' tall wall and an amazing sound system. I always stay with him when I go home to Texas for a visit and I always take a stack of DVDs with me.

This is the most complete review site for this stuff there is. Watch out for some serious geeks in there. Im looking myself, this has been extremely helpful.
PS, why not go bigger on the TV?
