great approach for both concepts. they both communicate well.
think about how they will work in the various contexts they will be seen.
and how versatile the object will be in all different media.hard decision.
the 1st one is very memorable.
and the 2nd one is versatile
good work.
good luck.

like them both, but (to me, of course) the 1st is superior.

No.1. Reads loudly as branding and is more of a visual .
I vote 1.

second one just looks less aggressive in some way.
it's not a techno flyer or anything, is it?
i like the idea though, but it's not very friendly somehow.. for a foreign language school.
it also makes me think of censorship in some way.
off to bed... laterz, folks!

My only negative thought on the first one is that it looks like it is stopping speech. like tape over a guys mouth. That is why I moved on.
Anyone else share my thoughts?

has to be #1

no. 1, but i think you could push it a little further though. maybe fill the head and reverse out the type - it would help for reproduction purposes. maybe the 'u' stays in the head and the 'ni' is outside the shape of the head. don't know if it would work though. i also think you should try different fonts. cooper black may be cool now, but could be tomorrow's hobo. just my opinion. i like 'em both but an image of a human tends to be more memorable and works well here.

Right on about Cooper. I think that it may not work in the future.
Yet I tried a bunch of type I have and it was the only one that complemented the form.
It definitely brings out some of the fun qualities I want the brand to stand for.
What would be some others i could look at?
