I have a small swf within an HTML page of text. Its postion within the page is way down at the bottom of the page, so the viewer only sees it after scrolling down. I can't figure out if there is a way to make the swf start playing only after it is fully visable to the viewer. Anyone? Thanks.

i don't know, but if there is a way to get the scrolled position of a page, then yes, using fs command, if not, then i guess no.
i may look into it though, it could be quite good

Could you use a srollbar-less window and use javascript navigation to feed pertinent details to your swüf?

you could possibly cheat it... or go half way there by having a rollover on the movie, or the area that is visible when you're scrolling down to.
You'd probably need your flash movie to keep picking up a variable from javascript...
Or the alternative is to have a click to play button, or some kind of attractor to get the user to trigger the movie by clicking etc.

Or stick a replay button on it.
Or make it a looping piece of animation that has no beginning or end.
