I guess the way Flash has been headed, its inevitable, but I think that's a bad move separating it into 2 programs...
They condidered that for MX way back, but pulled out. Back then there was a consideration for a Flash and a Flash "lite".
I get wary when you hear of any program geared to "designers". Its like saying - here's Flash for idiots who are afraid of Actionscript.

They also made 2 Dreamweavers before releasing MX. Sincerely, I think it's a big mistake to make two Flash (designer & developer). I don't know if all is BS since in moste sites you google they received a Macromedia's notice to take down all screenshot and info...

My action scripting ability is limited. I break out into hives when I see too many brackets within a 300px height space...but even I can see that having two versions of Flash is a bad idea. Don't you think it will just further perpetuate Flash-induced bad design?
