Am in dire need of some input from those in the know on this one. I need to purchase a microphone for my minidisc. I don't particularly want a 12 cm style microphone - I want a stubby microphone or some such thing - ie easily concealable. It could be attached via cable or just directly (stubby) - doesn't bother me either way!
I'll be recording anything and everything but primarily sounds I find in public. - ie it won't necessarily be bands or anything but could be speeches i hear, various organic sounds, individual musicians, there'll be a wide range of stuff I'll be recording.
Any information you guys could give me on this one would be GREATLY appreciated!! Am heading overseas soon and would need it before then! Thanks a bunch for anything.
ps: might add was just going to revert to getting the sony ECM-DS70P if i couldn't find more info - is this mic good???
thanks again!!!

no prob, it's good for what i use it for, but if you need super crisp samples, i would look around more.

Hey Nirvous, thanks for the links! Some interesting stuff in there!
Have seen a couple of those things before - would love one of those boost boxes but the budget doesn't allow (let alone that cool in ear microphone thingo!)!!
what would you think of this microphone:
