crazy stuff
i saw one of these once that had only all different MA accents - and mine was the worst - south shore mass :( ive been taking speech classes for years & i cant fix it!!!!

a lot of them seem very generic, the ones from the uk certainly dont seem to pick up a lot of the variations, theres someone from birmingham who doesn't even have a 'brummy' accent at all, and no scousers on there either, they could have had some amazing diversity on there really. I think the volunteers are probably middle class.

That jamaican accent just doesn't seem right. I'm guessing a lot of these are subdued compared to how a normal person might speak on the street. I suppose they'll be adding many variations of each speaker in the future though.
That ewe one is funny :)

I'm usually found out when I say either "cauwfee" or "chaulklit". The N.Orleans one was pretty tame. they're some wildly wonderful accents down dat way.
