right now, the best ESB in the world is brewed at fitgers brewhouse in duluth MN:-) (no offense to tsing tao, but i threw up on it 4 years ago, but that was also due to vodka, so i won't give it up due to the beer)
they have a nitro poured esb as well as a hand poured cask of esb (and 10 other pours of brewhouse beer at any time)... in the america's, hand's down, best beer in america. (i'm partial, but dave the brewer does brew some of the BEST beer in america.... anyone near, come on in!)

A promising little exit, small and round. About the right size to fit a cork. It's cosy inside the bottle. The light is soft and green. What happens gradually is that the alcohol breaks down the fatty tissue between the cells and they run together like raspberry jam. One cell that had character blends into another that hasn't. It happens so slowly you don't even know it's going on and you like it while it's happening, that's the worst of it. You LOVE it ... an exhilarating process of decay.
