...of the days of the super web giants. Remember the day I went to their Atlanta office opening party. Full bar. Video games. Pool tables. The latest technology. Unstoppable.
6 mos. later. They vaporized.
Wonder if we will ever see the likes of those behemoths again?

the industry will pick up again but we will never be telling bosses to go fuck themselves in the ass ever again as jobs will always be tight. Too many dzinerz about

We will, but it will be more than a generation away. I am not going to forget what happened, and I'd guess most won't.
Many, including my self, lost substantial amounts of money to the bubble. The stock market will be lucky if it grows at a small fraction of what it did in a few months per year. And that's how there companies were formed - pure speculation.
Biotechs are the only comparable thing now, but they are at least making 'something'.

Sapient

the industry is already getting better, but it's poor management to have companies where money is thrown around on useless crap like videogames and free beer every day.
companies that survive have never had that kind of culture. companies that survive are more or less corporate in nature. it doesn't mean you can't have fun at work, but there is a difference between fun and extreme waste of time.

Razorfish in Sweden almost had a pool going inhouse.
I miss that. It's my wet dream to get it all back. (;_;)
